Christmas is just around the corner, but it’s okay if you haven’t quite wrapped everything up just yet: we’ve got just the check-list for you.
Our carpet experts have compiled their best nuggets of advice for those of us leaving Christmas a little last-minute, so read on to discover how you can get organised quickly.
Get decorative
Time’s not up just yet when it comes to decorating the house. You can find Christmas adornments reduced in the shops by now and choosing some vibrant decorations to complement your neutral décor can really brighten the place up; try lanterns leading upstairs for example to contrast a lighter carpet.
Are you prepared for guests?
If you have family or friends over for Christmas, make sure that they’re catered for with towels, bedding and even sofabeds if they need them. Make a list of all the supplies that you need and tick them off as you go; this will avoid any disruption once they arrive.
Sort the food
For many it’s the most important part of Christmas, so it’s key to make sure you have all the food you need. Again, list-making can really help you out: from preparing your vegetables to making sure you have enough potatoes to go around, planning a meal in advance can be a valuable way to spend your time.
